Superintendent's Welcome

Welcome to Boerne Independent School District, where our Hill Country roots, strong community partnerships, and commitment to excellence create something truly special: The Boerne Advantage.

As Superintendent, I am proud to lead a district where students are challenged to achieve their full potential, teachers are empowered to make a difference, and families and community members are valued partners. Whether you are a longtime member of our community, a new family considering Boerne ISD, or a community partner, we are glad you are here.

Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our results. Boerne ISD has earned an A rating from the Texas Education Agency for seven consecutive years, and our Board of Trustees was recently named the TASA Outstanding School Board of the Year, recognizing the exceptional leadership, collaboration, and vision that move our district forward.

The Boerne Advantage is about creating opportunities for every student through academic achievement, fine arts, athletics, career preparation, and innovative learning experiences. Our dedicated educators and staff, strong Board leadership, and supportive community work together to ensure every student can discover their strengths, pursue their passions, and prepare for a successful future.

At Boerne ISD, our commitment is simple: Every Child, Every Day. We honor the traditions that make Boerne special while embracing new opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and putting students first. It is an honor to serve this remarkable community. Thank you for your trust and partnership as we continue building on our legacy of excellence.

Sincerely,
Kristin Craft, Ed.D.
